We’re excited to introduce a brand-new water aerobics experience coming Sunday mornings to Inverness this season, and trust us, this isn’t your typical water aerobics class!
Coach Michelle is an Aquatic Lifestyle Coach & Concierge with over 20 years of experience teaching water-based fitness throughout the D.C. metro area. A native Washingtonian, lifelong swimmer, former lifeguard, aquatics director, and open-water scuba diver, Michelle brings not only expertise, but energy, passion, and joy to every class.
This is not your traditional water aerobics class — it’s a vibrant, high-energy, low-impact workout designed to strengthen your heart, joints, and muscles. Whether you’re looking for a fun way to stay fit or want to keep your body moving without strain, this class is perfect for all levels.

Pool Info:
We’ll use both the shallow (4–4.5 ft) and deep ends of the pool. You’re welcome to stay where you’re most comfortable. Modifications and guidance are always provided.
Equipment:
No need to bring anything to trail classes if you want to wait and see how it goes. See suggestions for water dumbbells, noodles, everything is beginner-friendly and adaptable.

A Note on Registration:
Typically, participants register for the full session up front. But since this is our first season together at IRC, I’m offering flexibility. You’re welcome to register for individual Sundays and get a feel for the class first.
