Keeping each other safe…

Opening up the pool has been a work in progress and we want to thank our members for their patience and understanding while we figure out what works best for our membership. During this phase, please be reminded that we are still required to limit the number of people on premise, the number of people in the water and the number of people in each swim lane.

Starting Saturday, June 27, we are introducing a limited open swim by reservation in 90 minute blocks with 30 minutes of cleaning and sanitation between each block. The purpose of the continued reservation system is to adhere to our capacity limits as well as facilitate contact tracing, if necessary. For this reason, we can only allow the person whose name is on the reservation to enter the pool and a reservation must be made for each member of the family planning to enter the facility. Also available during open swim, will be two single-swimmer lap lanes, available by reservation in 45 minutes blocks. We anticipate releasing the available reservations for the coming week on Omnify Thursday evening.

When you check-in for your reservation, you will be assigned a reserved, socially distanced area which we are calling a household pod.  This will be your homebase during your time at the pool, and is setup to ensure your household is at least six feet away from other groups. You can bring your own lawn chairs or just use the area to lay your towel down, but household pods may only be occupied among members from the same household.

To keep each other safe, please review our COVID-19 Safety guidelines here. The County has also mandated guidelines for this current phase of pool reopening, including:

  • Members should wear face coverings when interacting with staff or individuals not from their household.
  • Members should not wear face coverings in the water.
  • Members are discouraged from sharing objects with members not from their households, including goggles, food, towels, etc.
  • Lap lanes may only be used by one patron.
  • Pools are required to clean and disinfect in accordance with CDC and EPA guidelines on COVID-19 and product instructions.

The diving well will be open with social distancing at the lineup for the diving boards. The kiddie pool, basketball court, playground, swings and water fountains will be closed during this phase, per the County.

Early Bird Swim: We also plan on beginning reserved Early Bird Swim on June 30 for two sessions: 6:30AM and 7:15AM. Reservations will be made available next week.

Memberships and Reservations: If you haven’t already joined, we have reduced our fees due to the shortened season. Complete, sign and submit the membership form found here. For reservations, members will be sent a unique username and password to login to the reservation system. If you have any questions, please review our FAQs.

Keep them coming! We welcome your emails about what has been working and what may need some work. Please keep us updated on your thoughts, suggestions and comfort level with our reopening.
